One of our latest projects was for an extension on a high quality orangery roof, using Amourplan on top of a plywood underlying structure. Fixing the roofing straight to plywood shows the versatility of this roofing solution as it can be insulated from the inside. Because of this, the cost of an orangey installation is reduced making it more affordable and more efficient to install.
Armourplan is a polyester reinforced, mechanically fixed PVC membrane which is used on a range of roofing applications including refurbishments, new builds and other specialist developments such as simulated metal roofs. It offers enhanced mechanical properties over standard PVC membranes. The membrane is effective on both flat and sloping roofs with high UV resistance and a long service life. The single ply PVC membrane is fixed using suitable fastenings and forms a sleek skin on the roof application, giving it a visually pleasing finish.
Armourplan provides many benefits:
- Exceptional mechanical properties and product performance
- Efficient and safe installation
- Secure seam welding quality
- Complete range of fixings and accessories available
